Finally hit some diamonds in Minecraft. I only found one which is the sad part, because I need like 3 to make a pick. The only way to get obsidian is to have a mining pick made from diamond. So I think Imma go work on that some more.
I also bumped into a large cave system with many twists and turns and what not. I have a mining pit around that area. The diamond I found was also accompanied by a vast supply of Redstone. Whenever I get the chance, I think I'm going to try and make a song from note blocks.
